I'm here to laugh with you, challenge you when it matters, and help you untangle the things that feel overwhelming. My approach is conversational and collaborative—because meaningful change happens in the context of a genuine therapeutic relationship.

I believe that meaningful change happens in the context of a genuine therapeutic relationship. My practice centers on helping you untangle what feels overwhelming and build a life that actually feels like yours. Whether you're navigating anxiety, trauma, perfectionism, burnout, or the simple fact of being human, we'll work together with honesty, humor, and evidence-backed approaches. Summit Clinical Partners is also home to my clinical supervision and consulting work — because supporting the people who do this work matters too.

ACT helps you clarify what matters most and take action aligned with your values, even in the presence of difficult emotions or thoughts. It's practical, forward-focused, and grounded in what research shows actually works.
CBT addresses the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. When anxiety or perfectionism are holding you back, we'll work together to identify patterns and build new, more helpful ways of thinking and responding.
DBT combines acceptance and change strategies, making it especially useful for emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and relationship skills. It's structured, skill-based, and deeply compassionate.
For trauma, shame, and interpersonal wounds, I draw on trauma-informed and relational therapies that honor your experience and help you heal within the safety of our therapeutic connection.
I believe in your inherent capacity for growth. Together, we'll build on your strengths, tap into your resilience, and access the wisdom you already carry—even in the hardest moments.

Therapy doesn't have to feel sterile or distant. Summit Clinical Partners offers conversational, collaborative counseling for adults across Colorado — plus clinical supervision for counselors building their careers.

Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC, LAC)
I became a therapist because I believe that meaningful change happens in the context of a strong therapeutic relationship. My work is grounded in the conviction that healing isn't something that only occurs in a therapist's office—it happens in ordinary moments, in relationships, in laughter, in trying something new, and in learning to give yourself the same compassion you so easily offer everyone else.
My style is conversational, collaborative, and genuine. I won't silently nod while you do all the talking. Instead, I'll laugh with you, challenge you when it matters, and celebrate your wins. I specialize in working with adults navigating the messy reality of being human: anxiety, life transitions, perfectionism, burnout, relationship challenges, trauma, and the weight of shame. My approach is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), while drawing from CBT, DBT, and other evidence-based approaches when they fit your goals.
What drives my practice is helping you build a life that actually feels like yours—not a "better" version of yourself, but an authentic one. I work with adults and elders across a range of experiences, including women's issues, trauma and PTSD, domestic violence, emotional regulation, parenting challenges, and even suicidal ideation. I'm trained to meet you where you are and work collaboratively toward real change.
I offer online sessions across Colorado, with in-person availability in Englewood, and I accept most major insurance plans. Beyond the therapy room, I've spent more than a decade leading clinical teams — experience I bring to the clinical supervision and consulting side of Summit Clinical Partners. Whether you're working through trauma, navigating a major life shift, or growing into your own clinical career, I'm here to help you move forward with authenticity and practical tools.
Whether you're dealing with anxiety, perfectionism, burnout, or the messy reality of being human — or you're a counselor looking for a supervisor who's been in the leadership seat — April is here to help. Sessions are held online or in person, and most major insurance plans are accepted for therapy.
